Why Have a Paramedic in a GP Surgery?
A Paramedic in a GP Surgery is known as a 'Community Paramedic'.
They work as part of a team and support Doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients. They can take your medical history and perform physical examinations.
In addition to their 'Paramedic' qualifications, they have received extra training in primary care.
