Help With Transport
Non-Emergency Patient Transport is available to eligible patients who are unable to use public or other transport due to their medical condition attending hospital outpatient clinics, being admitted to or discharged from hospital wards or needing life-saving treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy or renal dialysis or DVT treatment. Eligibility is strictly enforced to safeguard the service for the most vulnerable patients. To make a journey request please telephone 0300 123 9833 (Monday to Friday 9a.m - 5p.m) where you will be guided through a series of questions to determine eligibility..
Voluntary Care Groups provide volunteer drivers to take people to their medical or similar appointments when they are unable to access any other form of transport or are not eligible for non-emergency patient transport (see above.) Please see below for a 'Care Group' that operates in your area:

The Cango bus services in the New Forest have ‘timed’ and ‘bookable’ stopping points where you can get on. It is possible to catch the bus at the timed stopping points without pre-booking - but only if you are travelling to another timed stop.
Concessionary passes are accepted for free travel.

Call and Go
Call & Go is a bookable bus service for anyone who meets the following criteria:
- Live more than 400 metres from an available bus stop.
- Do not have access to a car when required and there is no bus service running when you need to travel.
- Be disabled or have a mobility or sensory impairment which makes using buses difficult.
You need to register to use the service and phone to book your journey. Bookings are allocated on a first come first served basis. Fares are similar to normal bus fares. The minibus will collect you from a mutually agreeable point (or from your door if you are mobility impaired) and take you to your required destination.
Call & Go minibuses are specially adapted with handrails and low steps to help passengers. Each vehicle is equipped with a lift or ramp to assist wheelchair and walking frame users and people carrying children in.
